Manchester City won the first domestic trophy of the 2018-19 English football season Sunday as they beat Chelsea 4-3 on penalties after a 0-0 draw at Wembley. Despite de draw, Bernardo Silva was one of the best players of Guardiola’s boys, and EA Sports hasn’t missed it out.

In fact, midfielder Bernardo Silva was named as the Carabao Cup Final MOTM after another exceptional performance – something that is now becoming a regular occurence. To mark his award win, EA Sports have given Silva a special edition MOTM FIFA 19 Ultimate Team card.

This is the fourth and highest rated card given to Man City’s Bernardo Silva on FIFA 19 Ultimate Team this season, and has been given an 87 overall rating. This is a massive upgrade on his non-inform 84 overall rated card.

Three Manchester City players had been given a rating boost when the rating refresh was revealed some weeks ago by EA, but it was shocking that one of City’s best players of this season, Bernardo Silva, had been left out.

Silva’s best position is out wide on the right-hand side but this season, he has played in midfield in many games due to a long-term injury to Kevin De Bruyne. In fact, Silva clocked a season-best 13.7 km in midfield against title rivals Liverpool in a crucial match at the Etihad.

The Portuguese international has also racked up eight goals and assists each in all competitions. He has been so good that Pep Guardiola rarely drops him from the starting XI despite a plethora of options at his disposal.
