Singapore-based eSports company SecretLab has signed Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli as its new ambassador.

The e-gaming chair manufacturer signed the Spurs player because he is one of the more famous sporting athletes who actively stream. In April 2018, more than 40.000 viewers tuned into his Twitch channel just to watch him playing Fortnite.

“I am very particular about the equipment I use when I play – I have to be comfortable. That’s why I am excited to partner with Secretlab”, Dele Alli, said. “Their gaming chairs are made with great quality and can be adjusted to how I like to sit, this allowsme to game as best I can!”.

Ian Alexander Ang, co-founder and CEOof Secretlab, said: “Physical sports and video gaming are similar in nature. The perception that gamers only consist of nerdy boys in the basement is no longer true – it’s become common to see many sportsmen playing games and vice versa. We want to be part of the movement to educate the public on this, and partnering with an elite sportsman like Dele is our way of doing so. That, and Dele really likes our chairs”.
